Ekiti 2018: Fayemi’s Assistant, 1000 APC Members defects to Fayose’s Camp

Kola Adu, a former Senior Special Assistant on Development and Strategy to the immediate past Governor of Ekiti State and Minister of Mines and Steels, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, has resigned his membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

 

Adu, a native of Ikere-Ekiti in a chat with TheElite Times on Thursday in Ado-Ekiti said he terminated his association with the APC because of the lack of direction and focus of the APC led Federal Government.

 

The front-line politician who praised the state Governor, Ayo Fayose promised to ensure that the Osoko Mass Movement, a social political group working for Fayose and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) get massive support from the people of  his country home.

 

The governorship hopeful said if elected in 2018, the state will witness a total turn around and build on the legacies of Fayose.

 

Adu will formally defect to the PDP tomorrow in his country home with over 1,000 members of the APC
