EPL table: Arsenal secures a five-point lead with a 4-3 victory over Luton Town

On Tuesday night, Arsenal widened their lead at the top of the Premier League table by five points with a 4-3 victory over Luton Town at Kenilworth Road.

The hero for the Gunners was Declan Rice, who secured three points with a late 97th-minute header. Despite the hosts’ strong start, Gabriel Martinelli opened the scoring by tapping in Bukayo Saka’s low cross.

Gabriel Osho equalized for Luton five minutes later, but Gabriel Jesus regained Arsenal’s lead just before halftime. David Raya’s mistakes allowed Luton to take the lead through Elijah Adebayo and Ross Barkley.

However, Arsenal responded with Kai Havertz’s goal in the 60th minute, leveling the game. Declan Rice then delivered the decisive blow, heading in a goal in the closing moments, breaking the hearts of home supporters.
