Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr has released names of six new players in the 25-man squad, invited for the friendly games against Ivory Coast and Tunisia in October.
CSKA Moscow forward Chidera Ejuke, FC Midtjylland’s midfielder Frank Onyeka, former U-17 captain Samson Tijani, new Porto signing Zaidu Sanusi , SKF Sered goalkeeper, Matthew Yakubu, and Genk forward Cyril Dessers are all going to be playing for the Eagles.
While Leicester City midfielder Wlifred Ndidi has pulled out of Nigeria’s friendlies due to injury, Granada of Spain midfielder Ramon Azeez is the only midfielder included on the standby list by Rohr.
