Nollywood Veteran Actor, Aworo, Is Dead

The Jimoh Aliu, veteran actor, the Okemesi-Ekiti born thespian died at the age of 85.

The iconic thespian was born on November 11, 1939. He was a dramatist, sculptor, film writer, playwright and director. The deceased began acting in 1959 after joining Akin Ogungbe Theatre Group and left in 1966 to form his own troupe, Jimoh Aliu Concert Party, in Ikare, Ondo State.

He is famous for his popular movies, particularly Yanpan Yarin’ and ‘Fopomoyo’.
