Kareem Taiwo, a man suspected to be a fraudster was arrested in Ibadan today while trying to defraud some citizens who wanted to register as a officer with the Amoketun.
he suspect was earlier seen pasting a notice at the Adamasingba Stadium, venue of the recruitment screening. He was said to have indicated his name and phone numbers on the notice.
The management got wind of the act and swung into action. When the suspect was apprehended and handed over to the agents, he blamed the act on the devil. The Chairman of the Oyo State Security Network Agency (Amotekun Corps), Gen. Kunle Toogun (retd.), urged members of the public to be wary of fraudsters in their quest to enlist into the corps.
