Customer shoots man dead in Lagos Over Shawarma

Kayode Oloruntoba, a 35-year-old man has been shot dead by a fellow customer at a shawarma joint Alagbado area of Lagos state.

Kayode had been invited by his friend, Kazeem, to the shawarma spot when the suspect got into an argument with Kazeem on who should be served first.

According to reports, the suspect left the joint in annoyance, drove off, only to return few minutes later with a gun and shot at the direction of the two friends, Kazeem and Kayode.

The bullet unfortunately hit Kayode, while residents called on a native doctor to extract the bullet, he was rushed to ‘The Merit hospital’ where he was rejected for not having a police report.

The victim was being transported to another hospital in Abeokuta when he gave up the ghost on motion.

Akinola, A resident of Alagbado who was present at the scene said,

“Immediately the incident happened, his friends rushed him to the Merit Hospital where he was rejected because there was no police report. He was later referred to the General Hospital, Otta, Ogun State, where he was cleaned up and transferred to the General Hospital in Abeokuta.”

The suspect is yet to be identified and he is currently on the run.
