Leader of Nigerians in Ireland, Oluseyi Aba, Wife Lauds Jimoh Ibrahim over Fortune University

The coordinator of Nigerians in Ireland (NIIRE), Otunba(Dr) Oluseyi Aba, has congratulated business mogul, Jimoh Ibrahim, on the foundation laying ceremony of the University of Fortune, Igbotako, Ondo State, established by the billionaire.

In a press statement he co-signed with his wife, Yeye(Mrs) Olufunmi Aba, Dr Aba commended Ibrahim for citing the university in Igbotako in Okitipupa Local Government Area in the Southern Senatorial District of Ondo State, saying aside from opening up access to tertiary education in the district, citing the university in the area will impact positively on the local economy of the people in the zone and the state at large.

“Dr Jimoh Ibrahim has done well by establishing the university in our locality. It will boost the local economy of our people thus improving their standard of living.

“He could have as well located the university in Lagos or elsewhere he so desires, but he chose to remember his homeland back in Ondo State. That’s a commendable feat which goes to show the love he has for our people,” a part of the statement read.

Dr Aba, a philanthropist himself, also called on other well-meaning sons and daughters of Ondo South Senatorial District to help bring development to the zone, emphasizing that government alone cannot do it.

The foundation laying ceremony which attracted dignitaries from all walks of life including the Ooni of Ife, Oba Eniyan Ogunwusi, Rebuja of Osooro, Oba Gbadebo Bajowa, Ondo State Governor, Akeredolu Rotimi, SAN, and a host of others, took place on March 20 at Igbotako in Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State.
