The All Progressives Congress (APC) has lost two supporters over the stampede that occurred at the presidential rally in Sokoto on Wednesday.
The deceased include a 15-year old boy and a woman whose names were yet to be ascertained as at the time of filing this report.
It was learnt that the woman lost her life after being knocked down by a moving vehicle along the road leading to Giginya Memorial Stadium, the venue of the campaign rally.
The boy, however, was said to have collapsed and died inside the venue of the rally due to large crowd.
The Information Officer of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Sokoto Operation Office, Abu-Bilal Baba-Ali, said the two were certified dead after their men had rushed them to the nearest hospital.
