Nigerian man has claimed that he was threatened by a policeman in Lagos

The man revealed that he had been allegedly threatened with the name of a cult group

He explained that the incident happened at a Lagos station when he went to report a robbery

A Nigerian man has taken to social media to accuse police officers at a station in Lagos state of threatening him. The man claimed that a policeman at the station had written a note filled with threats on his car while he was in the station.

The man identified simply as Osilo narrated the reason why he had been in the station. He explained that he went there to report a robbery after someone ransacked his car and tried to steal from him.

According to Osilo, he had just returned from the United States and he is currently staying in Lekki area of Lagos state. He revealed that his gateman had caught the thief and they took him to the station.

Osilo claimed that he was threatened after he went to the Lekki divisional police station to report the case. He said the officers had listened to him and asked if he was willing to charge the man to court but he refused.

He claimed he did not want to be responsible for sending someone to jail for items he got back.

However, after leaving the building, the man claimed to have seen a death threat on his car left by one of the police officers.

It said: “MEET US AT THE ELF BUS STOP SAYS BY AROMATE CONFRATERNITY TODAY OR YOU WILL FINE YOURSELF AS A DEAD MAN BY 11 ON THE DOT signed.“

The man claimed to have asked the officers inside but they all pretended not to know a thing about it.

Osilo who was furious about the incident noted that because of people like the police officers Nigeria would never be great.
