In furtherance of his commitment to creating jobs through Agriculture, Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu Aketi’s administration has approved that the state should access the CBN Accelerated Agric Development Scheme to the tune of 1.5Billion Naira to assist the 18000 participants of the Youth- on -the- Ridges agric programme of the State Government.
The facility will be a single digit interest rate which will enable the participants to become successful agropreneurs in their respective agric ventures.
Governor Akeredolu promise to create jobs, through agriculture, entrepreneurship and industrialisation, is anchored on realistic expectations.
The state government has engaged 18,000 youths, 1000 per local government across the 18 local government areas of the state. These young men and women are trained in the best practices of agriculture.
