Ondo govt. announces new scholarship, bursary application

The Ondo State government has announced new application for scholarship and bursary awards for the 2017/2018 academic session.

The application is for Indigene students of the state studying across all tertiary institutions in the country.

According to a press release from the office of the Ondo State Scholarship Board and signed by the Secretary, Lanke Olamisegbe, the board advised that only registered full-time students in recognised institutions in the country are eligible for the application.

The statement also stated, that candidates for regular scholarship would be subjected to online aptitude test. Adding that physically challenged students with evidence of their disability would be considered for the handicap category of the scholarship award.

Meanwhile, the board has pegged the required CGPA for application to a minimum of 4.0 for university students and 3.5 for students in Polytechnics, Monotechnics and Colleges of Education.

While advising students on early registration, the board said registration will commence from Friday December 21, 2018 to Friday January 4, 2019. The board also insisted that it will not entertain late application.
